Feral Philosopher... Somatic Anthropologist... Erotic Exhibitionist
Notes from the fairies in the field. Things found, collected, overheard, learned, lived, embodied. The human animal in its natural habitat. My own field research and resources gathered. Chelsea Liley (or even lil miss lily) spotted in the wild.

It is the part of myself that refuses to sit still - the eternal student. The fieldwork I do in the wild as an academic; a little witchy, a little erotic, a little creature-scholar - a pixie princess of rope and research - wandering through the world with curiosity.

It’s where you can find resources, tools, quizzes, and practices that support your body, pleasure, relationships, and nervous system — the things you can do at home without therapy, the things I trust, and the things the internet actually got right. What i have learned from wandering through the ecosystems of desire and embodiment. And it’s also where you can spot me in the wild!  performing shibari suspended to the roof, speaking on podcasts, teaching workshops with flip charts and floggers, or collecting stories like a wandering anthropologist with rope in one hand and a notebook in the other. Or in a café scribbling field notes between clients, rituals, and revelations. This is your free resource library, straight from the field.

In the Wild my work stops behaving like 'therapy'
and becomes something instinctive and alive.
The part of my world where the research gets messy
and embodied - lived in. Where theory meets skin,
psychology meets instinct, and sexology meets soft
rebellion. The Wild is where I keep everything I learn
outside the therapy room. The nightclub conversations
about heartbreak at 2 a.m. The questions people

whisper when nobody else is listening. The desire
that sheds its shame when it is allowed to exist.
The patterns and rituals I see in couples at bars, in
workshops, on dancefloors. The tiny erotic signals
people send without knowing they’re speaking a language.

Here I study the accidental rituals of being human - flirting cues, the archetypes of feminine and masculine energy, the way people test boundaries, the way desire leaks out sideways, the way trauma sits inside posture, breath, and tone. I track how men learn intimacy in the wild and how women reclaim their bodies in secret. I notice how couples negotiate space, power, closeness, and distance without speaking.
half-dreaming and half-studying the world with the kind of attention that makes everything feel a little enchanted. I move through spaces like a wandering anthropologist of intimacy: gathering tiny clues, subtle gestures, stray conversations, and sensations like they’re rare artefacts meant for a private archive. This one.

Because my work isn’t confined to a therapy room. You can find me performing shibari, speaking on podcasts, running workshops, or scribbling notes in cafés, bookstores, and dancefloors. Usually found wide-eyed, bushy-tailed & barefoot in nature observing humans where ever I go. Drafting ideas in my mind about desire, or exploring it myself through my own body.

Below are tools, worksheets, practices, and links — things you can explore without therapy, drawn from everything I’ve witnessed and collected in the wild.

About Me

My name is Chelsea Liley (she/they) and I'm a somatic psycho-sexologist, therapist and artist living in Boorloo (Perth, WA). This hub serves as a place for clients to book in to work with me, as well as a platform for me to get creative and write about all things sensual, sadistic and silly. And there's much more to come, from educational tools, workshops and events and bespoke services to tickle your fancy. Intrigued? Get in touch and let's chat.

In the spirit of reconciliation, I pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present, and future. I acknowledge their connection to land, sea, and community, their stories, and their traditions, and recognise my privilege and honour to be creating, working, and living from the lands of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people. I use this platform to tell my own stories, and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the various lands on which you may be reading them from today.

A queer and kink friendly space.
